With the wisdom that comes from being enlightened by the Force, our core team jedi has done it again.
Really well finished, with amazing graphics, music and sound fx, the first Papervision3D game is also very good fun.
Featuring next generation Flash technology such as Red5, what was thought to be impossible is now redefined.
Long life PaperWorld.

This looks great but doesn’t work at all well with a track pad, I just span around in circles. I’ll have to wait until I get back to my desktop before I play it again.

I think it’s quite fun, I look forward to more levels.
PS: 3rd place on corkscrew, woohoo! (someone will probably beat me by the time you read this)

Why is it not playable?
Just curious Pete: what’s “alot” of work mean?

Linux users can now get Flash Player 9, which is required for the latest Papervision3D demos.
You can download it from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer

Yeah sorry Dave, you need to install Flash player 9.0.28 or higher. It’s AS3

This is incredible! I can’t believe some of the negative comments about it. Do you not realize this is Flash history? This isn’t pseudo 3d. We have been dreaming of *real* 3d in Flash for years and it is truly here! If you think it’s “not playable”, I assure you it is. Make sure you have Flash 9.0.28 and a decent computer. If you still can’t figure it out, check the operator head, space, and timing.
Brilliant work!

My guess is that you don’t have a license from LucasFilms for this stuff…

LOL

But shouldn’t you quickly and easily figure out how to play? Isn’t that the definition of playable? Shouldn’t it have an easy path to entry and the difficulty come from the levels themselves? I’m not a pilot so I’ll reserve final judgement and say it may be my own limitations as a “fight’n'flee” type of gamer. Having said that though, I didn’t even get to the start gate (if that was a start gate…I wasn’t really sure).

Now…having said all that stuff about “playable”…I do recognize and commend folks on the 3d aspects.
BOOYAH!!!

Nostalgia!!! I played this on my 386sx33
Wow, as a Flash developer I’m totally impressed! Are you gonna make a version with Ralph Hauwert’s Phong Shading too?
