Really looking forward to next week’s Flash on the Beach in Brighton.
John Davey has done an excellent job putting together a very interesting conference and we are very happy to be presenting two sessions on Papervision3D.
John Grden is presenting Papervision3D CS3 Component – get er’ done!, a very practical session aimed at designers and developers, covering materials, models, animation and the new features of Papervision3D 2.0. You can’t miss it: Monday 5th, 14.45.
My session is titled Next Generation Websites with Papervision3D and focuses on the practical applications of 3D in the Web, with many examples of real-world scenarios. Tuesday 6th 13.30.
There’s also going to be a lot of familiar names and faces from the PV3D community. It’s going to \m/

Hi
I have a real world application of 3D which is different to most. You can design your own products before you buy them. (http://www.fluidforms.at)
At the moment it is done with java but I am just waiting for phong shading before I swithch to Papervision.
Cheers,
Stephen

Briliant presentation John! When will the version of the component that you showed in your speech be released? version 1.5.1 is missing all the handy checkboxes for 1-sided material, interactive,… can’t wait to try out the new one.
And I’m really looking forward to Carlos’ presentation tomorrow

It was great to see the Papervision presentations at FOTB this week. Was a great insight into the tool and the people behind it. All the best.
