[...] Papervision3D seems to be the talk of the town when it comes to open source Flash development. While I have had very little experience with it, I went this session for two reasons: to see what all the buzz was about in terms of real world development (i.e. what has been done with it to date), and to see some code.
It was great to see the Papervision presentations at FOTB this week. Was a great insight into the tool and the people behind it. All the best.

Briliant presentation John! When will the version of the component that you showed in your speech be released? version 1.5.1 is missing all the handy checkboxes for 1-sided material, interactive,... can't wait to try out the new one.

And I'm really looking forward to Carlos' presentation tomorrow :)

Hi

I have a real world application of 3D which is different to most. You can design your own products before you buy them. (http://www.fluidforms.at)

At the moment it is done with java but I am just waiting for phong shading before I swithch to Papervision.

Cheers,
Stephen
