This is a really exciting build. I feel like the conference in NYC was just a few days too early though. All the new features were not entirely wrapped up, so I’m a little confused as to what elements of the example code is now legacy. Not much from the conference still compiles when you point to GreatWhite. Also, check org.papervision3d.view.BasicView–it seems that org.papervision3d.core.view.IView wasn’t imported. I don’t want to end on a downer, though–this is still amazing stuff.
December 5, 2007 at 3:31 pm
Thanks, thanks for all community, and go ahead to PPV3D 2.0.
Ps.:
One doubt, how will stay the documentation? All Papervision3D documentation will it pass by a updating?
December 5, 2007 at 3:34 pm
Thank you so much, John, for the update on your blog regarding the changes in v2–this is a big help. (http://www.rockonflash.com/blog/?p=92)
December 5, 2007 at 4:16 pm
org.papervision3d.core.math.NumberUV needs to be imported in the Cylinder primitive. Where can I report bugs on this alpha?

Has anyone been able to get PVD3D 2.0 into a Flex Library? There is too many errors when I try to compile under Flex 2.01 Hotfix 3 SDK.
December 6, 2007 at 4:55 pm
Mark, just fixed all this and recommitted. Also check that it’s now under src, instead of directly in the GW branch. Ralph.
December 6, 2007 at 8:52 pm
Z-Sorting still sucks. This is a fundamental feature.
