Best thing they've did is Director work for home planning. That's impressive and makes me wonder why Adobe is putting director so far away from the crowd. Respect for awesome work!

Fantastic visuals and overall aesthetic. Though their AS3 code for the video preload seems to be broken in Chrome, as soon as the video window opens and throws up the preload percentage it immediately closes down again :(

I've had similar issues with AS3 variables myself so I feel the pain - though browser testing people... ;)

thanks for the examples, Mr Haveman - I will be sure NOT to show these to my clients. Base-X will make a client drunk with ambition :).

You main portfolio is nice, but I continue to have doubts for Papervision3D without 3d acceleration. Sluggish, slow and annoying. Sometimes being on the cutting edge is not enough

Our in-house Flash Engine is the engine we use in sites such as Base-X, Wenswonen and Miele Inspirience. It's an engine which enables navigation through a 3D (pre)rendered environment using video sequences. The engine does all the preloading, bandwidth prediction and other tricks to get it running smooth under almost all circumstances.

<a href="http://inspirienceathome.nl/" rel="nofollow">Miele Inspirience</a>

The INDG site was however built with Papervision 2.0 Beta with some custom hacks here and there to allow some of the effects such as the horizon reflection. And some custom classes to do dynamic texture mapping on a scaling and resizing mesh.
